I hate to say it, but there comes a time when it's probably best that a person passes on and ends their suffering. It's been sad seeing Ali in that kind of condition over the past few years. As bad as it might sound, I think it's kinda his time...

Sounds bad, but Ali's brother said it could be months (not days) before Ali died, so who knows, this could be a false alarm.

Yup, not to mention that it can't be too pleasant living like that. Ali's wife has been a blessing for him, I think when the time is right Lonnie will see to it that Ali's final wishes are taken care of. (if you know what i'm sayin'.)

Tbh I'm surprised he's made it this long. I mean he's had Parkinson's for close to 40 years.

Classless move by the wife not letting his brother see him.

Parkinson's isn't a terminal illness but yeah, I get your point

BTW how reliable are these reports?

I love Ali, but I think it is time he passed. This is no existance for such a bright, strong character.

Yeah all the complications must be horrible. I also wonder about the reliability of the report but we were bound to hear something given his condition. When he does succumb I hope America makes a national holiday in remembrance.

It pains to me think that such a character would get his soul smothered by something as arbitrary as Parkinson's disease.

I wish him all the best in the life after next, whatever that may be.

Maybe Ali told his wife that he didn't want to see anyone, and maybe Rahman is just full of shit, who knows, all the normal rules kinda go out the fucking window when you're allegedly dying. From the little bit that I know about Ali's wife of 26 years, (Lonnie) she's a good woman and will do the right thing, so don't be too judgmental.

I feel sorry for him but thnk of all the tens of millions who have the same disease now and who are suffering the same. When we grieve for our heroes it is OK, but let us also in those same momments send out a worldwide sentiment as well to ALL poor souls who are suffering. I feel sorry for him and for everyone. I cant seem to get used to human suffering, Im never ready to hear about it, it pains me and grieves me deeply. Not because he is Muhammad ali but because he is a human creture like all of us. We are all in the same boat and I pray for all of us poor souls. Surely mankind is at a loss, no matter which way we turn, ..... Time is the witness to that.

Laila Ali has tweeted this morning that her dad's health is normal and has put a picture up of him at homne watching superbowl.

maybe his brother was just grabbing the headlines and is bitter
