Default my coaches dont like the way of i fight

I used to throw textbook pounch and dont know start when I fight like old school boxers.

However, my coaches are certainly not happy with it and even not willing to nominate me for the competition.

Any advice on this. Should I start to fight in Orthodox style or keep doing this?

i can still fight normal in the ring. Everyone love it except my coach. I just not understand why they are not happy about it.

Listen to your coaches. There's nothing wrong with being unorthadox if it is effective, your style seems to be a lot of posturing, jumping about and slapping, which was barely effective against your friend (who can barely box) and will only become less and less effective at a competition level as you progress.

Dont know which guy you are---but the guy in the red shirt is holding his right hand so fucking low----he would get his jawbone left-hooked right the fuck off in the 1st round.

i thought your speed was good and good head mvement. too. But i also thougth your lead-off right hands were telegraphed a bit. but your movement is good, looks like you are standing too squared-up sometimes in close especially. keep it up!

I know. I try to imitate the movement of Pernell Whitaker or Billy Dib. Not a good copy, I know.

whitaker was 1 in a million---be careful. I think you are quick which is a positive. Keep your hands up and chin down a bit more, your chin looks like a nice target

My opinion, at your level now - better listen to coaches.

However, remember, there is no point to be ordinary fighter even with proper technique.
Therefore, develop your own unique technique, try to be special.

I am the guy in red shirt. I am not a slapper. Ive done that only cos we need to go light and keep my fingers loose.

I know I keep my hands too low all the time. However, that is the way I fight and that is the reason my coaches dont like it.
