Default Rigo's team has his next 5 opponents lined up... HBO dont want him cuz he's boring

Arum says everytime he mentions Rigo HBO wanna puke. lol

I appreciate Rigo's boxing skills and but at the same time, Boxing is entertainment too and there is no excuse for a 122lbs fighter to have such a low punch output ..

Rigo is a fuckin boring ass fighter..

Scuttlebutt on social media Wednesday is that HBO is not interesting in bringing WBA/WBO world super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux back for another fight following his unanimous decision win over Nonito Donaire in April. Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum is not happy about it and will likely have to put the Cuban ring technician on pay-per-view undercards.

Meanwhile, Rigondeaux’s manager Gary Hyde has laid out a plan of potential fights he’d like to put Rigondeaux in that spans five continents.

Fight 1: Rigondeaux vs. Frampton in Europe
Fight 2: Rigondeaux vs. Shimoda in Asia
Fight 3: Rigondeaux vs. Agbeko in Africa
Fight 4: Rigondeaux vs. Darchinyan in Australia
Fight 5: Rigondeaux vs. Mares in North America

In related news, Nonito Donaire looks headed to a possible rematch against Vic Darchinyan when he makes his expected comeback in a November fight that HBO should have no problem with.

Arum is a Judas scum bag and Hbo is thankfully dieing(ffs dying) the death of a thousand cuts and will soon go the way of the dodo bird where boxing is concerned. They act as if they are some kind of defacto governing body.

Its not boxing to them unless its two brainless sluggers and the fight ends in a knockout. They have dumbed down boxing for all the dumb people who would not know a boxing match if they were in one.

Hbo has done more to destroy boxing then just about anything else in the sport.

    I don't find him boring.

    I find him skillfully patient.

He doesn't do much different than Ward or Mayweather in my book.

    So HBO might have:

    Cotto-Delvin
    Cloud-Stevenson
    Donaire-Vic

Honestly Showtime has lapped them HBO had 3 great fights but for the 200 a year I pay for it they are taking to many questionable fights, while turning down better Golden Boy fights.

As far as Rigo he's not boring, he displays amazing boxing and if the opponent is average gets them out of there, the thing about the Donaire fight was if Rigo fought entertainingly Donaire knocks him out, this isn't WWE, cause in my heart of hearts I feel like Bob has told fighters to fight a certain way to me that is a fix.

You cannot blame Bob for the way Rigo fought, I hate the old man but that is over the top.

He is in my opinion the best counter puncher at the moment. He likes to throw as opponents throw and because he hits hard his opponents stop throwing. So I blame his opponents more so then him

It's a dumb snub by Hbo who has been run as a monopoly for the longest. Fans are a little more capable of appreciating boxing ability and they feed a constant line of select few instead of branching out ffs. I think Showtime has been blowing the doors off of them for a while now and look forward to it. Donaire vs Vic, are you kidding me Yes, the rematch of zero relevance while the man who educated the network fav gets the finger. Can't wait to miss they one.

I was referring to Clottey claiming Bob told him not to hit back

Also Bob said he talked to Bradley before the Ruslan fight about being entertaining, so you are giving Bob to much credit

I want EPiX to cover more fights from Europe. And Wealth TV is 99cents/ month and that's how I was able to watch last weekend from England. The fans need to start and run a network. I heard the UFC is trying to so that.

I'm pretty sure I recently read epix is getting out of broadcasting boxing, at least for the time being.

He's a tecnician and his skills are fantasic. He was a life time 3 round fighter who hardly ever got hit and he outscored his opponents easily!

Just put an agressive fighter in with him and it will be a Master Boxer in with a pressure guy!!!
To me thats an easy sell as long as the opponent comes to fight!
Rigo may need to move into 126 from 122 just to have more options! Ray
