I was more interested in them finding a woman with African features in 300 Ad when the Romans were around. That is something that is not common knowledge.

The earth is only 4000 years old. Even if Noah left those footprints they could only be 4000 years old.

The ultimate devils deception. Create something that appears to be responsible for origin in order to undermine the real author. Clever, clever boy.

That could well be one of his many tricks.

He would have to exist for that to be true. The Devil is a trick created in the minds of fearful men who themselves are capable of anything from the most selfless act of genuine love to the most heartless incarnation of pure evil.

I was playing devils advocate. You see the thing is this, as you know after many long winded discussions on the topic I believe evolution is a fact but not necessarily the father of all things. Not a big fan of random chance being the designer.

I do believe in good and evil as it plays out daily all around us. Or should I say what [we] as a species for the most part have deemed good and evil. It could also be normal I suppose that we all are sociopaths. Based on evolution I mean. Stands to reason. Nature has no good and bad. That is a human concoction. So why do we have it?

Lets suppose for the sake of argument that even when one totally discounts the God that is represented by religions the possibility of an outside power beyond our comprehension still exists. If you accept that possibility then it could also follow that this power whatever it is fully understands the concept of good and evil even if its an equation.

Now if such powers exists and again forget about our bastardization of it through religion then it is also possible that it is involved with a struggle which of course would also be on a level beyond our full understanding. So it could be that buried beneath our misrepresentations in religious text there could be a battle for our souls or consciousness. Too win us over. It may be on a matter-antimatter level. Obviously whatever this is, it is no doubt self aware.

Lastly, its possible then that one power in the link is stronger then the other but the weaker one can almost equal the stronger. Can’t quite do the create something from nothing act. So it uses a little magic. What better way to steal humankind and win the bet then create a system of footprints pointing to origin? Who knows? Perhaps its a rinse and repeat exercise and we are not even aware of it

For such a concept to be true you have to place earth and humankind at the center of the Universe. It's much like the belief in ghosts that offers no explanation for the very few sightings considering how many billions have died without even counting animals.

Not sure I follow. The trouble is nobody has come back to tell us of the other side. That in and of itself does not prove that the other side does not exist. We may have to keep retrying until we get it right w/o any knowledge of it at all.

That is true, we may. Love is real though and without it everything else is meaningless. If this life is all there is though it would be tragic to waste it thinking about second chances. It's an amazing journey on its own without having to add superfluous supernatural powers.

If someone does come back and tell us there is a second life then thats when we can start talking about it.

Until then its safe to say that we end up as worm food or cremated.

I dont believe in the big bang theory but thats my choice, lets just hope we get a sparkle of understanding in our lifetime.

Is the big bang still a theory. For some reason I thought it was a fact. I respect your beliefs, I just was looking for clarification.
