Ortiz has to be a on top fighter, Burns went the distance with a broken jaw, I no it's a nasty
injury, but it shows how some fighters are exceedingly tough and other no so.
Victor is a puncher but is his heart there to be a World Champion, I feel not as some would

Burns is a prime example. Doesn't matter if you think he won or lost the fight, to go 11 rounds with a broken jaw shows how tough he is.

Ortiz is a pussy, at the very LEAST try to run and pick the odd jab but you're a boxer.. You have to be prepared for this.

The way the Maidana fight ended, the great fight fight you had against Kirkland and the way you decided not to get up against Collazo all define you.
I wouldn't hold a broken jaw against anyone, but if you expect boxing fans to forget anything else you don't know boxing fans. To the majority of boxing fans, you are what they see in the ring.

Ortiz is a good fighter but that's about it. I never thought of him as being a great champion at anytime in his career. He still has a name so he can make a few dollars. As far as beating the top fighters in the division, forget about it. My advice save your money because his career is about over.

I'm done with Ortiz. Rewatched it lastnight and he was straight up delusional in the pre fight interview that I didn't catch the first time. Says the same thing..just got caught, and then the spit take line of the night..."I was actually winning all those fights and the guy had to get lucky" or some absurd mental band aid like that. He was gun shy and shook after a stiff Collazo jab caught him coming in at the end of the 1st round, he literally was shut down and looked lost after that. He looked like a guy who didn't know how to, or didn't have confidence in his delivery in 2nd round, It was odd. Collazo had him timed and tamed and Ortiz needs to look for another gig. Changing his corner, changing his promotion, changing his shorts...didn't help.

I like Ortiz always in an entertaining fight he just lacks big time in the heart department. But most of you sayin you'd kick Ortiz ass shouldn't be talking if you never stepped foot in a ring. He obviously has more heart then most of you since he had the guts to actually become a professional fighter.
