Default James DeGale leaves Hennessy Sports

We know he's been unhappy there for a while and frustrated at his lack of options. Looks like Big Mick only has the Fury's left.

I suppose he might line up with Matchroom short term to pave the way for a Groves - Degale rematch in a similar way to Cleverly has done to get a rematch with Bellew...

Absolutely the best decision of is career.

He has been absolutely shit his entire career, not because he is a shit fighter(but a bit boring) but because he has fought one pile of warm horse shit before, and since Groves.

He will be remembered in history as the guy who lost to Groves. I'd love him to, change that by signing with Matchroom.

He should avoid Groves like he owes him money though because Groves will beat him every time. Groves has grown since their fight but DeGale has if anything gotten worse.

    I actually now like DeGale.

He seems tough and awkward and I think he would actually have an easier time against Froch than Groves would.

Groves relied on his quickness but that slowed as his stamina wore out. De Gale I feel could still be there making life awkward for Froch late in the fight and take a comfortable decision.

He would not get knocked out.

Even groves didnt get knocked out.

Froch would look even more awful against DeGale. Hes one dimensional but has stamina. He wouldnt have the same stamina advantage over DeGale.

Froch struggles against quick, defensive, "not aggressive" fighters like Ward and quick aggressive fighters like Taylor.

You are overestimating aggression, but DeGale has some very good tools.

I personally think he's just not good at using them.

    Agreed.

DeGale turned pro bells and whistles, best thing since sliced bread what happens , he fights
a old armature rival Groves, loses which I think he won Groves was very lucky.
This knocked the stuffing out of him,! he made himself look foolish leaves his promoter Fights
on CH5, lets face it more people would watch you fighting in your back garden, it's a fact what's
gone wrong a big ego poor judgment.
Ask the man on the street could they name Olympic Champions, doubt James DeGales name
would come up, sad but true will he be World Champion he may well be, boxing fans may
follow him, but will Joe public.!!!!!!!!

De Gale has to do what is best for him. I think the exposure on channel 5 has helped him look more humble and personable.

Who will he sign for? Warren again or Hearn on Sky?
