Master and I were discussing this a few days ago. Smoger wasnt payed off cuz USS isnt that relevant anyways but he definitely officiated with personal feelings and emotions up his sleeve..

USS' s struggles were well documented leading up to the bout. He never caught a break in his career and dude even talked about his ill daughter.

His wife was there to watch the fight with his sick daughter on her lap.. a lot of people saw that including Smoger and the judges and there is no way they didnt feel for him.. anybody with a heart would have symphatized them..

They clearly knew what was at stake for cunningham so smoger gave him a super long count while one of the judges fucked amir on the cards..

Steve Smoger is slipping fast. Fights aren't decided by who has had the most bad luck. Fights aren't decided by who needs the money most. Fights aren't decided by who has the sickest child. Fights aren't decided by who the referee like best. Fights should be decided by who actually won.
Amir Mansour has a crude looking, free swinging fighting style. So that makes it OK to screw him out of a fight once in a while?
