I doubt Canelo even makes it past Lara.

Lara doesn't throw enough punches to beat canelo. In a perfect world, he would get points for ring generalship and defense but unfortunately in today's boxing, judges don't look at that.

There is no way lara would get a decision by fighting that way.

Floyd didn't throw much but he still made Canelo his bitch, Lara has more sting on his punches and IMO his single punches will have more effect, either way, if by some chance Canelo beats Lara why not a match against Pacquiao

Lara is a really good opponent but I think Canelo would KO him.

Pretty sure Canelo would KO Pac Man as well so long as he was not stupidly dehydrated again.

In fact this fight really should not happen. Canelo shoud never fight low enough for PAc, he is way to big for that now and Pac, for him to approach a decent size for Canelo he MUST be using!

If Oscar and Arum have something to discuss, it's the biggest fight in history!

Yea because that's floyd.. floyd is floyd and everything is in his favor.

Lara doesnt have the same luxury.. if he doesnt throw much, the judges will bury him..

Lara is also easier to hit clean than Mayweather is.

Maybe the experience of fighting a slick southpaw in Trout and an ATG slickster in Floyd will have prepared Canelo to deal with Lara.

We all know how MArtirosyan and Angulo looked against Lara..

Canelo is going to beat him easily..

Canelo barely beat Trout, Lara schooled Trout. Then again, styles make fights, and I think Canelo edges out a close points win

Floyd didn't win cause he had the judges in his pocket, cause clearly he didn't, he pitched a shut out, beat the snot out of the ginger and they still almost gave him the win

Floyd is most likely pushing this fight behind the scenes because he feels with Canelo's power that Canelo would put Manny to sleep the way JMM did.... and thus he doesn't have to fight Manny, at all and can claim victory by virtue of beating everyone that Manny had been beaten by.

Floyd simply just does not want to fight Manny... and it has nothing to do with Floyd feeling he's better, but it is clear that Manny's style is one that would create problems for Floyd.

Pac Man will not fight at 154lb again after the gruelling fight against Margarito.
    Canelo will not join TR.
