    Default Jab counters

This is the way how trainer works with my kids. Is this correct or not.

You are doing nice work. Seems like the kid was enjoying himself. If you don't mind me asking do train full time.

Sorry, I misread it. I thought you were training the kids. Even cooler you have your kids involved. That really does look like a great way to work against a jab. I find a good jab to be one of the most important aspects of boxing. A good jab can give a fighter so much advantage. IMO it is a big factor in Floyd's greatness. To effectively take away a jab is so crucial and it seems like so few are able to do it well except people like Ward and Wlad who rely on clinching which drives me crazy. I think Maidana did a good job against Floyd's jab with the relentless inside attacks and that takes balls against Floyd. Porter did the same against Paulies great jab doing the same. I guess if you get inside and wail it can nullify a jab but that takes a special kind of fighter.

I notice lately my posts are getting long winded. I wonder if many people take the time to read long winded posts. There are a number of people here I respect and will always hang on every word they say like Ron Price, Mike's and of course my main competition Ryanman with whom I battle for someone affection. Thanks for reading my long winded posts.

He has your son snapping punches nice.

Its impossible to tell if the coach is good with only seeing one lesson but I will say it looks like he knows his shit.

That guy is teaching that man some very bad habits, in terms of footwork and posture. Specifically, the way he lets him walk forward with his right foot after a right hand, and letting him pull in with his chin up and his head back.

Very first video, the initial post. The problem with his feet when he throws his right hand starts getting very pronounced at about 1:10. The young man has his chin in the air all the time. Also, he is teaching him to reach out to catch the jab. You have to let it come to you.
