alright, im a brand new guy, but i think i can give you more information than the rest of the guys who are new on this. i want to start, and i have a friend that boxes. theres a gym about a 2 mile drive from my house, and since he goes to a school in another state(long story) hes going to take me there in march so i can see what its like. i run cross country in the fall, swim in the winter for the school, and run track in the spring. aerobically, im pretty darn fit. i have a heavy bag in my basement that i use a lot. i work out in my free time in addition to swimming 2x a day right now until the end of february. im a high school junior, 6 feet tall, 145 lbs and lanky as hell. i have a bench press in my basement as well with some dumbbells and a curling bar, just simple stuff. what i want to know is what i can do with what i have that will best help me prepare to start training at a gym in march. any suggestions?
