Excellent fight for both and a chance to see Golovkin finally face a genuine world class fighter.

I can't see Cotto being able to deal with his power after 6-7 rounds and that's when Golovkin gets the stoppage.

Infact I really don't see any weakness in Golovkin yet.

I'd love to see the fight, don't know how Id rate Cotto's chances at 160 though. My guess is that he/his camp would much rather fight Canelo

100% agree. Cotto will fight Canelo in a big money fight , lose his title and Canelo all of a sudden is a 2 weight World Champion. Makes sense for everyone. Let's be honest, Cotto is NOT a MW. If , by some miracle Cotto gets in the ring with GGG, he gets stopped mid to late rounds.

I don't think Roach is that stupid, I would not fancy Cotto's chances with a pick axe handle.,
and Quilliin the only hope he has is fighting Bob Hope.
The both of them would be despatched, in under 6 rounds GGG needs a challenge I my be
harsh but those 2, would be no more than cannon fodder.

Cotto is a proud fighter and should he beat Canelo next year I think he would fight GGG.
