    Default Mouthguards?

Wonder if someone can give me some advice on mouthguards.

I do some boxing training, and I spar but dont compete.

Being dissatified with 'boil and bite' mouthguards (poor fit, uncomfortable), and not wanting to ruin my good looks I invested in a custom one from dentist, costing me £60.

The fit is great, and the guard does not move when in my mouth, but just one problem. If I clench my jaw with guard in for any length of time, it makes me gag.

Should I take it back to dentist, see if it can be trimmed (around the soft palate area)?

    Or invest in another one?

These opro custom ones get good reviews

That said, I dont really want to have to shell out another £35+

    Any advice guys?

Give it time, it may have to be cut if it reaches to far into your throat.
