if you had to choose one single performance by wlad which one would you choose as his absolute best boxing match?

His 1 armed thrashing of veteran Ray Austin sticks out for me.
Hmmm if I had to list the ones that stand out...
Chris Byrd 1 - avenged Vitali's defeat, completely dominated/beat up one of the slickest and most underrated HW's of the 90s/early 2000s.
Samuel Peter 1 - Took on the scariest guy in boxing at the time, undefeated, brutal puncher, the guy who was supposed to "save" the HW division. Wlad was fresh on the comeback trail and still looked at as a huge bust with a glass jaw. Gutted through some tough spots and got the job done.
Calvin Brock - The name doesn't mean much anymore but at the time he was looked at as the next possible great American HW, an elite boxer who could punch. Klitschko ends all that hype with a brutal KO.
Ray Austin - Austin was not a great HW by any stretch but was world class at least, Klitschko destroys him in 2 rounds with one hand.
David Haye - Boring fight but I blame that more on Haye. After all the build up, Wlad completely nullified Haye's speed and power, he was aggressive, met Haye head on and was constantly moving forward. Totally outclassed his biggest rival/threat to the point where nobody was asking for a rematch.
Pulev - another solid undefeated HW, Wlad battered him around and ended with a brutal knockout
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
Yeah, I have to Agree. He looked great in the Bird fight.
Id say his last. He fought aggressive.
Also, wach, he kept trying to put him away and expended some energy.
On the reverse side, who do you think gave Wlad the most problems other than his losses?
Id say Chambers and it was the combination punching that did it.
Thompson and Brock as well as Peter gave him troubles but to his credit he adapted well.
Wlad's best fight? The Sam Peter win really was a turn the corner for him. I think the Pulev fight is also a turn the corner fight he was aggressive and for the first time he really showed emotion in the win.
I think I'd have to say Haye.
Most 'threats' tend to deteriorate fairly quickly against WK but against Haye, WK faced a guy who was equally as athletic and as equally threatening and boxed immaculately for twelve rounds.
If you're not convinced then consider the fact that according to Haye, a stand up European boxer presents the best style match for him to land his Hayemaker and yet he was beaten so convincingly by it.

Sam Peter.
He was the Nigerian Nightmare. After Wlad, Peter had Ukrainian nightmares
Corrie Sanders.
Other than vs. Pulev, this was before it was he doing all of the clenches...
