Default Mauricio Herrera vs. Hank Lundy on HBO Latino July 11th

    Herrera-Lundy update | Boxing News | Fightnews

The fight will be taking place in Los Angeles at the LA Sports Arena. NABF Super-Lightweight title on the line, not that it matters. Decent fight at 140. Hope Herrera wins as he was robbed against Benavidez IMO.

I've come to like Lundy despite his brash persona he's created. He's very fast and always in good fights. He's got pop too.

Herrera beat Danny Garcia and is the unsung champ.

    Idk who to root for.

I agree with both of you, Herrera was robbed in those fights, but I still can't get behind the guy. I just don't like the way he fights. I can't help it, I guess I'm a bad person. lol Can you imagine Herrera and Floyd in the ring together?

Herrera is a bit of a Sven Otke type, so probably best he never gets a belt.

Herrera fights decent fighters, and actually tries to make a fight of it. Ottke had the judges in his pocket, where as it seems the other way for Herrera. It's never best when I guy beats a world champion and doesn't end up with the belts.

Lundy is a trip. Good skills, fast hands and works the personality. He has been on a rollercoaster with missing some opportunities, failing to make weight and being bumped off main event recently. He missed a major step up when he fell out of Matthysse fight. Though honestly he may have went out similar to mike Dallas jr. He looked raw and fought like a slugger in last fight..if he comes in half arse again I can see Herrera frustrating the shit out of him in a physical affair, possibly boxing his ears.

I like both guys as neither shies away from a challenge a win for either would be great but I hope Herrera takes it

Nice undercard fight too with Bogere vs Perez

Diaz reminds me of Paulie Ayala minus the intensity, combos, mustache and volume body work. He looked labored and far closer than cards read.

Damn good match up starting. Lundy all intense and throwing hard. Herrera has one of the best poker faces today, just sizing up. I need a drink

Herrera cut by a Lundy sloppy butt, flowing like a faucet in corner. This kid will never catch a break

Herrera hurt off right hand. Looks out of sorts and very bothered by cut..Jack Reiss warning both, Lundy clinching and grinding in 2nd and Herrera cut again by butt! Man you can't make this shit up. I now hope Lundy gets flattened

2-2 Lundy but Herrera cut up and flowing off butts. Shift in 4th with Herrera pushing him around and landing solid shots at end. Clear Herrera round...Reiss goes into corner and says "I'm concerned he cannot see..can you see, really...its a dangerous cut". He just won most convincing round ref..fook off.
