Default MOST ATGs moved up in weight throughout history

Look how many weight classes great fighters like Floyd Mayweather and Roberto Duran for example and Oscar dela Hoya moved up through. Look at Roy Jones Jr who fought heavyweight. Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard. Great fighters superstars have to prove themselves not only for the sake of their own self realization but for the excitement of the sport and the fans.

There is no such thing as an 'all time great'; no one was suggesting Duran for instance was great a century ago...

Since this is a dig at GGG Brock , then here is an ATG who didn't move up - Marvin Hagler who was a great MW.

True. But I said "most" not "all".

Had Marciano fought today he'd be a cruiserweight, how's that for a step up Granted he'd demolish Glowaki and Lebedev and have BJ Flores serving him drinks at the weigh in.
