There is no other way you can classify the win by Luis Ortiz over Bryant Jennings, with Jennings being a very strong, agile and fairly good quality opponent that was ko'd.
This is where a good chin, good power, and GREAT SKILL, with the confidence of 320 plus amateur bouts can bring you, vs. a guy with under 20, good chin, great confidence and all the rest.
Unless there was a lucky punch, it was only a matter of time before Ortiz caught up with Jennings and either hurt him back, stopping his forward movement on the way to an easy UD. OR an all out ko/tko, which we saw last night in their match-up.
Good win for Ortiz. Bad loss for Jennings, as he is BACK to the middle of the pack/middle card fights with the likes of the Molina's, Arreola's, Duhappas, Thompson's and Price's of this world. UNTIL he wins a BIG one... and the BIG ONES are now: Povetkin, Glazkov, Browne, Joshua, Mansour, Pulev, etc... before he can be considered a contender for the title again.
