    Default breakfast around the world

just wondering because I know it varies from country to country, hell it varies region from region in England

Anyways us English have the full English and we all know what that entails, bacon, sausage, egg, hash browns, beans, tomato, mushroom and black pudding.

Me myself I go for a sarnie made of 3 slices of bread (yeah I go double decker on that shit) with unsmoked Bacon, sausage, duck egg and chili black pudding rather than a full english because I don't like tomatos, beans or mushrooms, oh and the yolk has to be proper fucking sloppy and snotty, I like a proper chucky egg, none of this hard yolk business.

so what is your national breakfast dish and what is your variation on it?

Well here in New York we have so many different types of people that it's hard to say what the typical or national dishes in this area are. The major ethnicities here in Queens New York City are Dominicans, Indians from India, Bangladeshis, Indians from Guyana & Trinidad, Haitians, Koreans and Jamaicans.
We for example had curry duck, curry pumpkin and fried okra with whole wheat puri and chapati roti with Channa and masoori dhaal.

I've been to Ireland twice and loved their traditional white and black pudding, cheeses, stouts, and Irish soda bread with Barry or Lyons tea.

I love an Italian cafe style espresso with a sfogliatelle once in a while, but being honest, you can't beat a full English!

Reggie likes cereal, chia seeds in juice, some berries and a handful of walnuts.

    What a delightful topic!

Now, just curious, would Reggie be perusing some Yeats during said chia seeds procedure:

We rode in sorrow, with strong hounds three,
    Bran, Sceolan, and Lomair,
On a morning misty and mild and fair.
The mist-drops hung on the fragrant trees,
And in the blossoms hung the bees.
We rode in sadness above Lough Lean,
For our best were dead on Gavra's green.
