Default Wlad Is Early Betting Favourite to Beat Fury in the Rematch!!

I've just been checking oddschecker's boxing market for the upcoming year and Klitschko is 10/11 best price to beat Fury. Fury is 11/10.

I have to say I think Wlad is going to turn him over myself, I just can't see a guy as intelligent as Wlad taking the rematch without knowing where he went so terribly wrong and I also can't see Fury going 24 rounds without taking any serious power punches from Klitschko.

I think fury may well do it again

I thought the scores were a lot closer than they should have been last time

how many fights have been turned around when the loser of the first lost 10 of the 12 rounds?

Wlad has to prove he isn't totally gunshy and shot , he was simply awful in the first fight.
He had no answer or plan B to anything Fury did , so for me based on what we see fury is the favorite.

Wlad took the fight after listening to his brother. His brother cant understand how someone as shit as Fury could do that to his brother and it cant be that Tyson is just that good, it must be that Wlad didnt perform.

Hes wrong. Iv got a feeling the rematch wont go ahead. I think over time Wlad will question himself and maybe try and get a shot at Martin instead.

For Wlad to throw more punches hes going to get punched back more. He got hurt a couple of times in the last fight by not engaging and risks getting stopped in any rematch by being more aggressive.

I cant see Tyson not getting fucked around here with his history of pull outs against him.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with just about everything above. 😳
But if the rematch does go ahead, I have to agree with what Eric said.

Not sure Wlad can do much different. As much as being physically clueless last time he looked seriously intimidated.

I doubt he fancies going through the build-up again too.

If he did beat Fury it would ruin the good state the heavyweight division is currently in, as the Fury loss would quickly be written off.

I was reading in the Bleacher Report it might (the rematch) be held in the Middle East, hear anything about that?

If the rematch happens it will probably be promoted by K2 with their money again and theres no way they would want the fight outside of Germany.

Tyson isgoing to be very well paid to defend in Germany (if it happens).

Wlad has seriously damaged his legacy with the Fury loss. Whether it's true or not, people will be able to say he was always a one dimensional, gunshy, mechanical fighter who was able to impose himself and win simply by using the advantages he always had in height, weight and reach ..... And that Once he fought someone taller than him, he was clueless.

That result would never have happened against Vitali.

I actually think that Wlad is fighting Fury again because he has to do something to put his shattered reputation back together.

I can't believe that he could be as bad again, so I think it's an interesting matchup.

There is no way Wlad beats Fury in a rematch

What's Wlad going to do different ?

1 - Wlad Goes All Out Guns Blazing

You have as much chance of banging a nun than this happening. But let's say he does, well Wlad is not by nature an all out, all action fighter and you can't turn into one of them in the space of 6 months.

So even if (And that's a big if) Jonathan Banks (His Trainer) does get Wlad to be more aggressive, throw more punches, fight at a higher pace. Even in that unlikely scenario he's get beats and badly at that.

Because of his programming of 20 years of no risk, jab, jab, hold, overhand right boxing. He's going to stick with that and thus his aggressiveness wont be as effective as he will revert to type and his come forward, throwing bombs attack wont be an all out assault. It will only be at 60% and even then, Fury is younger, fitter and stronger, so he wont be able to sustain it.

    2) Wlad Tries To Outbox Fury

Again. He could not do it last time. Why this time ? At the age of 40 and against an even more confident champ who is bigger than him.

    3) Focus on knocking out Fury

Problem is that opens Wlad to being knocked out himself. Though I think Wlad has a better chin than Fury. I think Fury has better powers of recovery.

Fury reminds of Felix Trindad when he get's knocked down. He regains his faculties, very quick. Where as if Fury get's Wlad in trouble or down I think he'll get him out of there

The motivation is with Fury. Does Wlad really want a dog fight when he has millions in the bank ? Does he really want to bite down and go to war ? I don't see Wlad like that. I see him more of a Tyson than a Holyfield.

Has Wlad ever won a hard fight ? I can't remember. I think he'll punk out, like Tyson did every time someone stood up to him. Betting on Fury is licence to print Money.

If I was pricing this up I'd go 1/5 Fury. 5/1 Wlad

Perhaps bookmakers thought Fury was lucky the first time? That Wlad was not himself.

It was a 75-25 split last time. Now 50-50. Nothing to do with luck.
