Michael Nunn.

I always thought that Carl Froch was open to the overhand right. "Hold your fucking hands up". It is a trait that annoys me with many fighters these days.
Amir Khan's kryptonite is punches
Hattons was food
Chavez jr. Bong hits and Fruit loops
Seldon. Windy days
Mayweather. Any bill less than a 100
Hopkins. As skilled dentist
Ibeabuchi. Sanity
Ricardo Lopez. Food
Jones jr. Reality
Broner. Gutter balls
Bruno's was Tyson although he said he had the kryponite to beat Mike.![]()
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Bruno's was not having the common sense to take a knee when hurt. Though I guess his senses were scrambled to be fair.
Anyone watched the end of the Bonecrusher Smith fight lately ? How the hell Frank stayed up for so long is a mystery - wouldn't get fighters allowed to take that many punches these days.
and Khan's kryptonite is his canvas addiction
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

If Jumbo Cummings had landed his punch a few seconds earlier in 1983 Bruno's career could have been very different - or maybe over
It's at the 8.15 mark

Jesus....I tell you, not many guys lock up like that before they are knocked out. It is one thing to have a punch buzz you and you're on queer street, but it's another for you to just be cemented in place. It almost looked like Bruno was electrocuted when he got stunned...it's like if you break the current then Frank would immediately collapse on the ground.
I can't think of another fighter who would constantly get hurt in that manner....just go all rubber band man bending like a tree in the wind but not even attempting to circle out or drop to a knee.
Yet people still claim Bruno had a solid chin who just did not know what to do when hurt.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Ah shadup. Many fighters, even those with a bunch of KO losses, never reacted or looked quite like that in the ring. I don't think Bruno was purely chinny as he did manage to fight through some horrible moments, but there was definitely something off with the way he reacted to big punches. It would have been less suspect if he'd been clean knocked out a few times, rather than as said look like he'd literally been electrocuted a bunch of times, even if he came through to win one or two of em.
