Jorge Arce weighed in at 111 for his WBC interim flyweight defense. Challenger Rosendo Alvarez held up two eggs then stepped behind stripped behind a sheet and stipped. Alvarez weighed in at 115. He was given two hours to drop three pounds, but soon after it was announced that the fight will now be a non-title twelve-rounder. Alvarez must weigh in again tomorrow and be 122lbs or less for the fight to go on.

He wasn't prepared...he still came in too heavy & fwocked the title fight...that's not prepared...win or no win.

I agree with Wack, coming in without making the scales at the weigh in not only unprofessional,but it stains the victory regardless of how impressive it was. Chico has already stated that if Castillo does not make weight this time, the fight will not go ahead and rightfully so,why should he bust his ass to make and JLC not make any attempt not to! Come fight night,weigh as much as you want but hey,at least be professional at the weigh in!
