mayweather -> “If they want to see this again, it’s easy work for me. Next time it won’t go the distance.” (from post fight)
im sure thats what he told arum![]()
YES, NO......OK whatever makes you feel better then thats the answer
I have no idea about that, but is there really a great demand for an immediate rematch? I didn't really think the fight was close enough to deserve an immediate one, I had it 8-4 and I would have had it 9-3 before I had it 7-5 cause I thought I was kind of nice to Judah in giving him the 12th. I don't usually think 8-4, 9-3 type fights deserve an immediate rematch although I do admit in the rounds Judah won he was impressive, but the rounds Floyd won were clear too.
Its a bad career move for Judah to take an immediate rematch IMO
The only thing to make him feel better would be this: JUDAH WON...HANDS DOWN...FLOYD LOST.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK

OK....OK....So what your saying is you would be satisfied that Zab would be given a win not earned a win? Cuz even IF it gets overturned did he really win?Originally Posted by SalTheButcher
I really hope that no rematch is mandated. I can't see Judah making the necessary adjustments to do any better the 2nd time, and quite frankly, I'm sick of him.
Everyone in boxing wants to see Mayweather step up and fight the best welterweights in the world, particularly Margarito or Hatton. If Kermit Cintron wins against David Estrada:

maybe Mayweather-Cintron would be an interesting fight. I don't see any other established welterweights that are on Mayweather's level at the moment.
I think Arum saying no would have more to do with not wanting to work with Don King again then anything to do with Judah.
NO NO NO, not a win, im sayin a NC, a win would be great just cuz i know it would kill PBF, but a NC is fair, let floyd earn his win over zab w/o roger choking himOriginally Posted by CutMeMicK
he already did. floyd had won the fight on points already by the time the low blow/rabbit punch/roger-in-the-ring business happened.Originally Posted by SalTheButcher

I'm definitely with Bob Arum on that account. I'm way sick of Don King, a loathsome character in boxing history if there ever was one.Originally Posted by P.G.H Angel Eyes
no, he still had 2 rounds in which he could have been KOd![]()
Judah put up a great fight, but he lost decisively... time for someone else to try. There are too many big names out there for Mayweather to fight while he's 29/early 30's and we won't have to say.. Well Mayweather was old by the time he fought Hatton or ODLH or Cotto or Mosley.
Sal, do you honestly believe:Originally Posted by SalTheButcher

and/or
b) that Zab would have KO'd floyd in R11 or 12 if he had never low-blowed floyd and the fight had just gone on on a normal schedule?
because you have to be a true "Super"fan to believe either of these things. it's far more likely that zab would have been KO'd, but i don't think that's too likely either. what's most likely is that floyd would have won rounds 11 and 12, just like he'd won all of the six or seven rounds preceding them--quite easily.
