Default Wednesday Night Fights: Kermit Cintron vs. David Estrada

Very good fight for an ESPN 2 Wednesday night card, its a much better main event than the one they got lined up for Friday

Cintron's got Steward now, kinda interesting to see if he can come back cause he looked pretty shattered after Margarito bullied him around. Estrada's pretty good, beaten some decent guys and lost to Ishe Smith and Shane Mosley.

    Should be interesting

Should be a half decent scrap. I expect cintron to win on points.

Just because Cintron lost to Margarito, people were quick to dicredit him but this guy has decent boxing skills, awesome 1 punch KO power,he just ran into a machine in Tony,I still think he can be a big player@147.For a starter,no-one with a glass chin is going to last with him.

Estrada's been hurt to the body against Ishe and Sugar Shane, if I was Kermit I'd go to the body and not just expect him to crumble at the first head shot

Estrada's gotta get in close cause he's compact and Kermit's so rangy. I think this could be a good fight

Folks I wish I could watch this one, just gonna have to DVR it though. I gotta work 5-10 tomorrow, which sucks. Estrada does have a damn good chin. Any of you think he is going to win? How bout if Cintron could possibly KO him with a head shot?

Cintron by all intents and purposes is overrated. But he wins his fights, but he doesn't seem "real" to me and I know Estrada isn't afraid of him. Cintron tried to square up and bolt with Estrada trying to make him flinch, and when Cintron did that Estrada started laughing and asked if that was a joke Kermit wants to win this fight he needs to win it on body shots, if Estrada wants to win, he needs to use his right hand feint left hook set up.

Well Cintron may have been overrated before Margarito but I wouldn't say he's overrated now for the simple reason that nobody really rates him that high. He's still got enough power to be dangerous, and we'll see if Steward's helping him, Emmauel loves those tall power punchers so I'm not shocked that he decided to work with him.

Im picking Estrada on points in a close fight. He is a pretty solid fighter and with Angelo in his corner he'll have little trouble with the bigger cintron

I'm actually pretty excited about this

Kerm was probably a bit overrated before the Marg fight but he's probably a bit underrated now, no shame to lose to Antonio, he just wasn't ready, too much too soon, it was a man versus a body

And Estrada won't back down a bit, if he can get inside consistently and be defensively responsible he could win this.

Plus Cintron seemed a bit shattered after the Margarito fight, Estrada should jump right on him and not back down
