    Boxer Harrison arrested by police

World champion boxer Scott Harrison has been arrested after a disturbance at a pub in the centre of Glasgow.
Mr Harrison, 29, was detained along with two other men at the Counting House bar in St Vincent Street on Saturday afternoon.

They were taken to Stewart Street Police Station and are due to appear in court in the city on Monday.

It is understood that officers used CS gas to restrain the featherweight during the incident.

Mr Harrison's promoter Frank Maloney said he was aware of the matter, but declined to make any comment.

A police spokeswoman said: "Three men aged, 20, 29 and 30 have been arrested and are detained in police custody following a disturbance in a public house on St Vincent Street."

The fighter, from Cambuslang, is currently training to defend his WBO featherweight title against Mexican Martin Honorio in Belfast next month.

I'm sure he got let off on an assault charge and resisting arrest only a few months ago, hope this doesn't end up serious and jail time!
I will die at my post , on the streets or in prison
