    Default ALI RECORD--w/o forced retirement

ali would have reached his prime--so within those 3 and a half yrs his rcord would probably be

70-2-0 with a whupping 30 something successful defenses

he would have passed marcino's undefeated record
passed joe louis title defense record

losses would b from holmes and bervick 38 yr old ali--would lose to them no matter what

i dont know abouit ali compiling a record as good as that, but it was certainly a loss for boxing to see him inactive for those 3 years....could very well have been the best 3 years of his career...

still, i couldnt grumble at his record even as it really....went in against the best and beat the best, lost a few on the way but that happens to most really...

Before being banned to fight, no heavyweight was as active as him in title defenses, since Joe Louis.
