Hopkins has never wanted to fight Calzaghe. Im not surprised by this.

Calzaghe would fry him until its time to turn him over and cook him on the other side.

Hopkins really should retire. Ive said it before and I will say it again...he really has nothing to prove. Just call it quits!!

The BBC seem to think Clinton Woods is in negotiations to fight Calzaghe. If Hopkins is out of the picture, there aren't too many other options open for Joe at Lightheavy. I think Woods deserves the payday more than Froch does anyway.
If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

i like woods cos he never gave up and finally won the title, but lets be honest Calzaghe will be so much stronger with 7 extra pounds at light heavy and will destroy woods. Calzaghe is the complete boxer.

Thats a much better prospect in terms of seeing a live body against Joe. Hopkins is really tooooooo old. Pathetic really. Fought twice in a blue moon. And last time out called Winky to put on an extra tube and go 2 weights beyond normal. And that was an awful fight.
