He should have beaten Salgado, DeMarco & Thompson too that's what makes this fight interesting
Linares got caught against Slagado. His skin gave out against DeMarco. And I think the stoppage in the Thompson fight was a bad one. Either way DeMarco wins 74% of his fights by knock out. Salgado 61%. Thompson 86%. Mitchell got stopped without controversy in 4 against Ricky Burns. A fighter with a 29% stoppage rate.

So Linares can get caught but Mitchell can't? Linares looked f-cked in the Thompson fight, the cut saved him from an early nap Going by your percentages Mitchell's 70% should be worrying

I agree Linares should win but his chin and his tendency to cut will always be a liability

I can remember watching Mitchell going life and death with Carl Johanneson. And then watching Linares' face explode against De Marco when he was cruising to a victory. Two guys with flaws but I think Linares has far more boxing ability than Mitchell does.

And I'm fine with Joshua fighting guys like Johnson. He's only had ten fights and Johnson has been in with some good names and never been stopped. It's a great fight for him at this stage in his career.
