also to add,i find that in workouts i tend to get low energy fast,then after the workout i get a bit lightheaded, is this from low nutrients?

Yeah id say nutrition is the main cause of weakness and lightheadedness. Try and have a big carby meal 1-2 hours before a workout.
As for dodging punches, sparring mate. The only way i learnt to start avoiding punches was a hard lesson, that punches hurt.
Also, work on twisting at the waist, moving your upper torso from side to side, basically working your obliques for endurance so they can respond properly when your brain tells them to.
