I can't recall feeling that from taking a big shot , However when i have delivered as knockout punch I have felt a type of electric energy run down my arm like your describing .
electric energy is a good way to describe it but i never get it wen im throwing / thrown a punch only when i get hit really bad , im pretty sure its not good but no idea what it is.
Everyone reacts different to getting hit. I am thick in the neck area I have big traps that help act as a shock absorber to some extent.
Wouldn’t hurt to get checked out. your taking about numbness in your hands when you get hit . and that concerns me a bit, You want to rule out a slip disk in the neck or any swelling in the brain
Youve trapped your nerves to the arm from your upper 4th vertibra the dorsal muscle has tightened up causing the problem it happens a lot. Go to the stretch program and do the one with the stick and the ball should do the trick.
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....
