The bout is only 5 weeks away, I imagine thats why Cintron pulled out. Props to Shane for giving us a big fight that could take him out of title contention when surely he could get pretty much any opponent he wanted who ain't busy. Mosley v Cotto September?

I'm glad Collazo was able to get another name fight, I thought after the brilliant match he had against Hatton, he would be avoided like the plague. Glad I was wrong

Mosley is for sure the most experienced of both and biggest name. But, I still feel that swinging from 147 to 154 has not been beneficial for him. I feel Collazo is inpired specially after his performance with Hatton, and he is very dedicated to the gym. I think Collazo has real chances to win this fight.

I thought that might be the case too, but thinking more about it, Mosley really doesn't have great reason to fear Collazo based on that performance imo... Shane's a bigger guy who is alot stronger and faster than Ricky at welterweight, Collazo won't be able to overpower him and Im not sure he can withstand his power, assuming MOsley handles the move down fine I expect him to impress in this one, not giving Luis a big chance myself... I do see some good exchanges in this fight, thats where Collazo will have his shot is to counter inside, but like I said im just not sure he can trade shots with Mosley, and he'll need to.

It'll be a hard fought battle but i can see Mosley winning a UD, he's just too dam good for Luiz. Mosley is a step up from Hatton and at the end of the day Luiz lost to Ricky.

On the undercard Juan Lazcano is fighting Vivian Harris in a WBC light welter eliminator. Tough fight but i think Vivian will win.

It's what boxrec said, but remember never to trust boxrec. But im guessing the match-up makes sense.
