All we need is for Cintron to beat Kermit in the rematch... and we'll have the Puerto Rican trifecta at welterweight. Cotto-Quintana-Cintron. Yeah baby!

awww shit, didn't realize the fight was that delayed on my network... I just finished watching rd 7... Fucking Nascar. Hell of a fight though, I'm not surprised Quintana ends up winning, gunna log off and watch the rest very intently now.
Hey my friend, estoy pasando esta jodienda a secas por la cuaresma!!!! As you said we just need Cintron to beat Margarito. I will be drinking by that date. The perfect end will be a fight between Cotto and Floyd.
Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!
Hey, you bet!! Looks like we could own the WW division with a little help from Cintron in the Margarito rematch. I'll be rooting for Kermit all the way! As for Cotto-Floyd, I'm hopeful that will happen sometime this year, but definitely no later than early 2009.
It appears Tony is going to be the ONLY fighter standing in the way of a PR domination of 147 and it's time for te sig bets to come out with my PR brothers. Tony beats Cotto,Quintana and Kermit imo.Not easily at all,but he does win. He's the only one standing in their way now.
JRMAYWEATHER,those titles mean more to me for the fact that the belt holders are willing to actually I don't know,DEFEND their titles. At least TRY to UNIFY.
Yeah that must be why Cotto is facing Gomez instead of rematching Mosley or fighting Williams or Margarito in the first place. He could have had Margarito before Margarito signed on to fight Cintron. Anyways Mayweather will derail any PR out there... I see Cintron now being his biggest threat, but Cintron is like Judah in that he is very hot and cold, however he has a good chin, he hits harder than anyone in the division if not in boxing, and he seems have great boxing skills when he uses them, in other fights like against Margarito he shows a bit of Tyson in that when he couldn't hurt Margarito he got scared. Anyways I see Cotto being realistically the man who will fight Floyd, and his footspeed will be his downfall.
...let's put this in perspective
Floyd Mayweather Jr. @ 147
Sharmba Mitchell TKO 6
Zab Judah UD
Carlos Baldomir UD
Ricky Hatton TKO 10
Miguel Cotto @ 147
Carlos Quintana TKO 5
Oktay Urkal TKO 11
Zab Judah TKO 11
Shane Mosley UD
I would say Miguel has fought the better competition and beaten them more soundly at welterweight.
