Also any word on Pirog & Chavez Jr's next opponent.

Haven't heard anything on Pirog other than he's fighting in Moscow on May 1. And Sulaiman said they(WBC) won't sanction a Chavez-Murray match.

Mora v. Golovkin is blah considering what else is out there, but I see the point in that Mora is a known name, albeit without the best reputation. Mora at his best presents a tough style too. At the same time, Vera legitimately beat him last time out.

N'Jikam v. Bursak is a good fight. Straight up. I read somewhere that Pirog's people aren't happy with it because N'Jikam was supposed to be his mandatory or something like that.

Sulaiman is sticking with the farce that he will enforce a Chavez Jr./Martinez fight if Martinez comes out victorious this weekend, which is consistent with not sanctioning Murray-Chavez Jr. Thing is Chavez Jr. can fight on HBO regardless so I can see him vacating the title and facing Murray on HBO in June/July.

Unfortunately, Pirog will likely fight another nobody in Russia. It's getting tedious.

Proksa is defending his European title against Kerry Hope, whom I don't know much about, other than he lost to Caleb Truax a while back according to boxrec.

Speaking of Caleb Truax, Jermain Taylor is facing him in April on Showbox.

Below find a cool statistical analysis of potential middleweight match-ups by some matchmakers and boxing pundits. Sergio Martinez has the highest amount of points and Golovkin/Pirog are close behind him. Next comes Chavez Jr. and Sturm.

    My predictions

Golovkin-Mora - Not the best fight but since HBO/Showtime haven't shown much of a interest in him...I understand it. With Mora as the opponent I figure one of the Spanish language channels will televise it. Golovkin by late stoppage.

N'Jikam-Bursak - This figures to be a close fight. Hassan hasn't looked that great in his last couple of fights. Bursak on the other hand hasn't fought anybody other than Vera...so it's hard to tell how good he really is. My gut tells me N'jikam will have too much for Bursak but he'll fall short against Pirog. N'jikam by UD.

Taylor-Truax - Not familiar with Truax either...although his win over Hope looks better now after the Proksa upset. Also beat capable journeyman Andy Kolle. It's nice to see Jermain back in the mix. Taylor by UD.

Sturm-Zbik - Forgot to mention this fight. Felix has definitely faded in recent fights. Rooting for Zbik but it's gonna be hard to beat Sturm when he's promoting the fight card Sturm Box-Promotion - Kontakt Sturm by disputed decision

Martinez-Lee - Lou Dibella mentioned this could be next for Sergio. I think this would be a mismatch. Martinez by mid round stoppage.

Sad to see what has become of Winky Wright. If only he hadn't fucked up the rematch with Jermaine Taylor.

Chavez jr. is going to dump his worthless belt in the trash after he is stripped for refusing to fight Martinez.
