Good for Paulie. He's a two division champ now. Who would have thought?
I know, ive watched a lot of paulies fights growing up as a teenager and i always thought he was a good fighter, very exciting to watch and a good boxer, its good to see him putting in a performance like that. I think he could get involved with some of the top fighters at 147, he seems pretty established at 147 and i hope he can get matched well in the states now, he deserves it after this performance.

Damn, I had Paulie on points to win about a tenner. It was giong that way till the guys eye swelled up. However it was a good fight and a breath of fresh air after the monstrosity of a fight between Bhop and Dawson. The stoppage didnt suprise me as Paulie is hitting harder now he has moved up a weight. He moves from the body to the head all the time. Quick jabs and good combinations. Nice to watch and looking foward to his next fight. Senchenko showed heart and looked a good fighter but he is just another protected fighter who has been thrown a bunch of losers and didnt learn anything. Young fighters need to step up earlier and challenge themselves more. Everone is saying Kell vs Malignaggi. Kell like Senchenko will need to be careful as he has also been fed a bunch of weak fighters.
I think Kell would win because he looks good but you just dont know untill he fights a top opponent like Malignaggi. Who is pretty much the gate keeper to the top ten in the welterweight devision.

Because he holds a belt now, he'll probably be able to land a big money fight in Brooklyn against someone like Zab Judah.

Anybody know the scores at the time of the stoppage? I had Paulie way ahead...curious to see how the judges had it.

I wonder who Paulie gets next?

Great to see Paulie get the win & by ko! I heard he has been working on planting his feet & increasing power, looks like its paying off.

Wouldn't mind seeing him face Guerrero once he deals to Aydin

Senchenko and his promoter took Malignaggi lightly and they got it wrong, Senchenko is your typical
East European fighter comes forward in straight lines throwing straight punches.
I would say he has a very good amateur style, and he could not fa-therm out Paulie's style that side to side movement was to much for him.
Did you see the look on the promter's face when it was going all wrong, Malignaggi was there as canon
fodder he was far from that he gave there man a painful boxing lesson.
Give Paulie a few easy fights he deserves them.

How come Smoger stopped that fight? Normally if Paulie had punched the other guys's head off, as long as the headless body was still throwing punches Smoger would let the fight continue.

What a result for Paulie. You've got to hand it to him for this. I'm going to watch the whole fight asap.

I saw the stoppage which was the accumulation of punches damaging the opponents eye. Really pleasantly surprised that Paulie pulled this off. Fighting Zab would be a good fight.
