In Leeds, a three-fight Dinner Show promoted by Derek Roche saw wins from all three home-fighters, Debutant Jamie Kelly, Chris Thompson and James Ancliff.

The Hatton Promotions Bill in Wigan saw Denton Vassell successfully defend his Commonwealth Welterweight Title and Matty Askin won the vacant Central Area Cruiserweight Title.

In Germany, female boxer – Juliette Winter of Derby suffered a third round KO at the hands of Elina Tissen of Germany. Tissen defended her ‘Global Boxing Union Female Featherweight Title’ and added another two to her name – the ‘Global Boxing Council Female Featherweight Title’ and the ‘Interim WIBF Womens IBF Featherweight Title’.

In Hamburg, Germany, Polish-born Albert Sosnowski of Essex, suffered a twelfth round KO when he challenged Ukrainian-born Alexander Dimitrenko for the European Heavyweight Title.

Barry Hearn/Matchroom Sport announced their first ‘International Prizefighter Tournament’. The ‘Prizefighter International Heavyweights’ is scheduled to take place on the 7th May at Alexandra Palace, London, and features former Prizefighter winner – Martin Rogan.

And finally, yesterday afternoon, SaddoBoxing heard that Rendall Munroe has signed with Hatton Promotions. The Leicester Boxer – formerly with Frank Maloney – will now be fighting on the Khan v McCloskey under-card at the MEN Arena next month.
