Last night, in Mannheim, Germany, Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko retained his four Heavyweight titles by scoring a sixth round TKO over Italian Francesco Pianeta of Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Pianeta found himself on the canvas three times during the contest at the packed out SAP Arena.
Knockdown number one came in round four when the Champion landed a hefty right to the face of Pianeta, who stood up straight away and took the count.
A clubbing left sent him to the canvas again in the fifth. The third and final knockdown was a left, right, left to the head in round six.
Pianeta was on all fours and got up wearily as Referee Ernie Sharif administered the count then waved off the contest with the Italian looking dazed.
Klitschko – victorious once more! His impressive record now stands at 60 wins (51 by knockout) 3 losses (3 by KO).
