Carl Froch is beginning to impress the Judges on ITV’s ‘Stepping Out’ Programme.
The WBA and IBF Super Middleweight Champion faces George Groves on the 23rd November, but is mixing training with learning the steps for his next dance routine with partner Rachael Cordingley.
Last week, Carl and Rachael danced a Bhangra – Bollywood style routine and despite the glittery waistcoat – the Cobra failed to impress, scoring a total of 34 out of a possible 60 points.
This weekend saw the couple dance a slow Rumba with a number of impressive lifts and the Judges were complimentary.
“Carl, I loved the arm extension……you’re the most improved contestant,” Mel B raved, while Jason Gardiner said “You are a revelation tonight!”
Wayne Sleep awarded them both top marks of ten out of ten, while the total score came to 48 out of 60 which was a vast improvement and enough to get the viewers voting to keep them in the competition.
