The big names from sports, television and entertainment will join boxing trainer and ESPN/2 Friday Night Fights television analyst Teddy Atlas to help the needy in New York at the 10th annual Dr. Theodore Atlas Dinner on Thursday night, November 16, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island, New York.
The impressive list of luminaries who will be in attendance at the annual “Teddy Dinner” gala includes: Yankee slugger Gary Sheffield, former world champion boxers Sugar Ray Leonard, Larry Holmes and Jose Torres, past and present fight standouts Lou Duva, Gerry Cooney, Arturo Gatti, Michael Grant and Chuck Wepner, former football Giants Dick Lynch, Sean Landeta and Karl Nelson, ex Jets Greg Buttle and Bruce Harper, ex-Met ace reliever John Franco,
ESPN’s Brian Kenny, Joe Tessatore, and Steve Phillips, ESPN Radio host Max Kellerman, Mike Francesa and Chris Russo from WFAN’s Mike and the Mad Dog radio program, and jockeys Mike Smith and Mike Luzzi, just to name a few.
