On Friday night, in a Steve Wood – VIP Promotion at the Colne Muni, Shayne Singleton of Colne won the vacant WBC International Silver Welterweight Title by Unanimous Points Decision over Hungarian Laszlo Fazekas.
On Saturday, Ovill McKenzie of Derby won the Commonwealth (British Empire) Cruiserweight Title by a fifth round KO of Tony Conquest. Conquest, of Romford, Essex, was also on the canvas in the third round.
Also on the Frank Warren promoted show at the Copper Box Arena, London, Bradley Skeete of London retained the WBA Inter-Continental Title with a seventh round TKO over Italian – Tobia Giuseppe Loriga.
Lewis Pettit of London won the vacant WBA International Super-Bantamweight Title by fifth round TKO over Brazilian – Emerson Santos Carvalho and in an upset, Frank Buglioni of Enfield lost his WBO European Super-Middleweight Title by sixth round TKO at the hands of Sergey Khomitsky of Belarus.
In Paisley, Scotland, Mike Towell of Dundee won the vacant BBBofC Scottish Area Light-Middleweight Title by scoring a third round TKO over Rhys Pagan of Sanquhar, Scotland.
And in Denmark, David Price of Liverpool climbed off the canvas and scored a third round KO over Ondrej Pala in their scheduled eight round Heavyweight contest.
On the same Bill, ‘Irish’ Andy Lee of London struggled but won his eight round Middleweight contest by Majority Points Decision over Frenchman – Frank Haroche Horta, while Chris ‘Twinny’ Jenkinson of Bolton lost out to Abdul Khattab of Denmark by fifth round TKO in their scheduled six round Middleweight Contest.
