Boxing Press Conference Audio: Wayne Elcock vs. Darren McDermott

This week, at ‘Mbargo’ in the SkyDome Arena, Coventry, England, media were in attendance for the official press conference hosted by Hennessy Sports which saw Wayne Elcock and Darren McDermott come face to face ahead of their ‘clash’ on June 20.

Billed as ‘Battle of the Midlands’ – Birmingham Champion – “Mad Dog” Elcock, 18-3 (8), makes his first defence of the British Middleweight title against mandatory challenger “The Dudley Body-Snatcher” McDermott, 14-0-1 (9), the Midlands Area Champ at the SkyDome, Coventry.

The press conference was a very professional , ‘civil’ and ‘friendly’ affair – with both fighters smiling and relaxed, clearly having mutual respect for one another.
