The Denis Lebedev and Youri Kalenga teams reached an agreement, thus avoiding the Purse Bid summoned for March 17, 2015 in the World Boxing Association Headquarters in Panama.
Both parties negotiated and the fight will take place on April 10 in Moscow, Russia, according to the information given.
Lebedev, (26-2, 20 KO), is the WBA cruiserweight regular champion since April 11, 2011. The mandatory fight will be against the interim champion Kalenga, (21-1, 14 KO), who won the title on June 21, 2014.
Denmark’s Patrick Nielsen won the WBA International Super Middleweight title, defeating George Tahdooahnippah at Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen.
Nielsen (24-1, 12 KO) controlled the actions from the beginning and in the third round sent Tahdooahnippah (34-1-1, 24 KO), to the canvas, who managed to get up and keep on fighting.
After this, the European continued his work and punished his opponent at will who did not come out for the eight round.
