The much-anticipated return of professional boxing to Bury on Saturday looks to be a sell-out as only a handful of tickets remain for Scott Quigg’s homecoming fight. Emerging super-bantamweight sensation Quigg takes on Russian Andrey Kostin at the town’s Castle Leisure Centre, aiming to add another win to his perfect 17-0 record.
Bury Council have lifted their ban on professional boxing and will allow Hatton Promotions to stage talent stacked shows in the town.
