PAC is taller and with longer reach/range (big advantage for PAC here) while Hatton weigh a little bit more than PAC...
Size department is just even... I won't buy "Hatton is the bigger man at 140" argument...
.
If these measurements are correct, Hattons shoulders are 25 inches apart, and Pacs are 17 inches..... Sounds like bullshit to me.
Here's PAC's 25" arm length and 17" shoulder and Hatton's 20" arm length and 25" shoulder... ;D

They are very short, but no shorter than usual. ;)
The reach will not be a factor in this fight IMO, Hatton always looks to close the gap. And with some sensible use of the jab Hatton will be able to mix up his attacks and keep Pac guessing.
I seriously think some people are overlooking Hattons speed, strength, skills, chin and sheer tenacity.

Looking at the picture, Hatton's arms look short and his shoulder very wide... Wide target means easier to hit...
Size is just even and speed is an advantage for PAC... How can Hatton bully PAC if he don't have the size/reach/range to push him and he don't have the speed to corner PAC??
And you're right PAC will avoid, evade or counter any intention of Hatton to back him up to the ropes...

There is no way his arms are 5 inches shorter than his shoulder width. No way in hell. You measurements are wrong, dead wrong. Fuck admit fault for once in your life!

It's not quite as simple as you like to paint it. You always seem to operate in either/or terms. In fact, your intial statement confounds me a little.
If you mean by height they are even then I might be inclined to agree with you. But in terms of build, are they bollocks equal. Hatton is the stronger, bigger man. He has been at this weight for years and is a natural JWW, he has twice fought at WW. Pac has had just a few fights ouside of 130 pounds. As you admit Hatton is a margin wider, he is a bigger man. In terms of speed Pac has a handspeed advantage. But Hatton is no slouch in that department. My only concern is that Hatton should reign in those leaping hooks somewhat and use the jab more to work his way in. Pac is a little faster, but Hatton throws harder and more meaningful blows. Hatton can bully Pac because you are paying scant regard to Hattons footwork, which is exceptional. It is not easy to keep Hatton at a distance. Not even Mayweather could do it without Cortez. Hatton is on you in a flash, and once you are smothered he will bully you. Hatton is excellent at cutting off the angles and getting you where he wants and Pac will be no different here. Then that "wide" body will be pushing and those "little" arms will be working and all of a sudden it isnt so funny.
Hatton will land, and that little pixie won't be able to run forever. He will back Pac up, hurt him, and his back will touch those ropes. And eventually he will start to linger there longer than he wants. Of course, I could be totally wrong. But then again, so could you.

I won't admit fault... Heck Margo didn't even admitted he has bricks in his gloves...;D
I got the measurements from HBO pre-fight stats... Hatton's measurements I got from the Hatton-Malignaggi fight...
Let HBO admit this fault (if ever there's some fault indeed)... Or just admit Hatton is a freak... Very short arms and very wide shoulder... ;D

I just hope T-Rex doesn't get knocked down because with little arms like that flailing about it will be very difficult to get up and beat the count of 10! ;D

- You can't really rely on Hatton as the "bigger" man. Hoya was expected as the bigger man but what comes out, Hoya just the taller man compared to PAC on fight night...

- "Leaping hooks" that's very dangerous if PAC catches him on air... Regarding jabs, 25" arm length versus 20" arm length, go figure...

- PBF just allowed Hatton to push him to the ropes coz PBF is confident that he has excellent defense at close quarters... I believe PAC won't allow Hatton to do it on him...

- I agree, it's not funny IF (and only IF) Hatton can "hug and punch" PAC at the ropes..

- The above only happens if PAC can't punish Hatton's face earlier... multiple cuts with Hatton's eyes closing due to the heavy swelling... Hatton's skin is so white and the sight of crimson red blood all over his face is so gory to watch...
;)

I did some measurements on myself to see who seems more normal.
My reach is 71 inches
My arms from top of shoulder are both 25.5 inches
So gap between shoulders is 20 inches.
If your stats are correct Hattons shoulders are 25 inches. Dam thats wide, and Pacs are only 17. I cannot believe Hattons shoulders are 8 inches wider than Pacs!
Hatton's wider??? Then it means Pac has a Bigger target to aim. Pac will barely miss shot any in this fight. I project Pac to land more than 50% of his punches in this fight while Hatton to land only below 30%.
Hark at Mystic Meg there with her Crystal ball!
I imagine Hatton's body is somewhat wider than Pac's. That is because he is actually bigger than Pac. When that body is crushing down upon you, it isn't so easy to hit it, and it wears you down. I can see that happening a bit in my Emeralds of Enchantment. ;)
You're wrong again. Hatton's Body will not crush on Pac coz Pac's has his arsenal firing from the distance. I can guarantee this. Hatton will more likely be crashing on the canvas Than crushing Pac.
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
I think Pac gets crushed by Hatton Pac vs Oscar Oscar werent their from the 1st round it was obvious i think pac is abit hyped up in my opinion. Don't get me wrong i think he is a very good fighter but his best wins have come against washed up fighters coming to the end of there top level career Barrera,Morales and Oscar and David Diaz was a very limited fighter even though the win over Oscar was a good one the weight situation takes abit out of the win so you can say we still have to see how good and strong he is above lightweight because the Oscar fight didnt give us these answers because it was just target practice. I think this fight is a true 50/50 fight it will be a great one but only one winner for me and thats the HITMAN.;)

1) Different fight and a different opponent. Hatton is still in his prime and fighting at his optimum weight. It's safe to say that Oscar wasn't prime and certainly not at his optimum weight. Hatton still has the size advantage IMO.
2) We agree. Too many leaping hooks = not such a bright idea. Hatton cannot afford to get too sloppy. Pac is not Maussa.
3) The backing up aspect is an intriguing one. Hatton doesn't like to step back. Pac can do that but as has been noted elsewhere, he rarely let's you get him onto the ropes. I like to think Hatton can bull him there more than you think, but that is just opinion.
4) I don't want to see a hugfest either, but I do want to see Hatton given the opportunity to work on the inside once he gets there. I cannot imagine Pac having the strength to get into too much of that with Hatton.
5) Hatton does cut easily, that is true. One of my main worries TBH. I don't think Manny can stop Hatton except for cuts.
