Hatton is the stronger, bigger man. He has been at this weight for years and is a natural JWW, he has twice fought at WW. Pac has had just a few fights ouside of 130 pounds. As you admit Hatton is a margin wider, he is a bigger man.
- You can't really rely on Hatton as the "bigger" man. Hoya was expected as the bigger man but what comes out, Hoya just the taller man compared to PAC on fight night...
In terms of speed Pac has a handspeed advantage. But Hatton is no slouch in that department. My only concern is that Hatton should reign in those leaping hooks somewhat and use the jab more to work his way in. Pac is a little faster, but Hatton throws harder and more meaningful blows.
- "Leaping hooks" that's very dangerous if PAC catches him on air... Regarding jabs, 25" arm length versus 20" arm length, go figure...
Hatton can bully Pac because you are paying scant regard to Hattons footwork, which is exceptional. It is not easy to keep Hatton at a distance. Not even Mayweather could do it without Cortez. Hatton is on you in a flash, and once you are smothered he will bully you. Hatton is excellent at cutting off the angles and getting you where he wants and Pac will be no different here.
- PBF just allowed Hatton to push him to the ropes coz PBF is confident that he has excellent defense at close quarters... I believe PAC won't allow Hatton to do it on him...
Then that "wide" body will be pushing and those "little" arms will be working and all of a sudden it isnt so funny.
- I agree, it's not funny IF (and only IF) Hatton can "hug and punch" PAC at the ropes..
Hatton will land, and that little pixie won't be able to run forever. He will back Pac up, hurt him, and his back will touch those ropes. And eventually he will start to linger there longer than he wants.
- The above only happens if PAC can't punish Hatton's face earlier... multiple cuts with Hatton's eyes closing due to the heavy swelling... Hatton's skin is so white and the sight of crimson red blood all over his face is so gory to watch...
