Floyd is a moron. All this time going by is just aging him and allowing pac to get comfortable at 147. Where pac will put on a legal aggrevated assualt on the primitive Mayweathers.
That's one way to look at it, or..
That, or Mayweather is taking a year off letting his body get fresh while Pac is going through training camp after training camp and fighting more and taking more punishment than he should, so makes himself a little more worn. So that by the time they fight Floy's body would have had a year of rest and would be fresh, while Pacquiao is a little more battle worn and Floyd boxing wise is about as smart as Hopkins.
In my opinion, Pacquiao's time in the ring is aging him more than floyd's time out of the ring at this moment.
Either way. With every astounding victory, Pac gets new fans, and loads of new respect. Whereas Floyd... he continues to spout off as to why he's the world's p4p... but less and less people are listening.
"astounding" victory?!!!! some of you are such sheep. Any person with half a brain could have predicted the result last night.
Oh but of course. Now EVERYBODY could've predicted the result last night. 90% of tis board thought Pac was going to KNOCK HIM OUT quickly. What is astounding is how easily such a one dimensional and slow as molasses cheater like Margo was able to hit Pac.
Maybe because Manny was more than willing to exchange punches? Just a thought. Also, it IS a 12-round fight. Some punches are bound to find their mark. Just make sure you don't jump off the bandwagon when Mayweather puts on a master class against Pac.
Sorry dude, but to me... that a blown-up lightweight can put such a horrible beating on a huge welterweight is amazing to me. Ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a!! And yeah... you and the rest of the Floyd groupies will continue with the "what-ifs" and the "just-wait-untils". Meanwhile, the rest of us are yawning and laughing at you.

Re: The ball is FIRMLY in Mayweather's court
Floyd isn't going to do ANYTHING until his and his uncles legal problems are cleared up. And you'd be a moron to think anything else.
I have no idea if the fight will happen. Obviously it won't if Floyd is in jail.
If the fight was to take place...
It wouldn't be at a catch weight in Pac's favour
Pac for the first time in a long time would be up against a guy that hasn't taken a severe beating and is essentially shot
Both fighters would enter the ring proven clean.
And for those reasons my money (and I would put money on it) would be on a Floyd mayweather victory.
Now would be the best time for pac to fight floyd though. May has been out of the ring a while he's had trouble in his personal life and he isn't getting any younger. Pac would have a better oppotunity than any other mayweather opponant. Still I'd go with a one sided mayweather vistory.
Re: The ball is FIRMLY in Mayweather's court
......still don't see why people talk so much shit about floyd yet cry about seeing the guy fight pac or anyone else for that matter. How far away from boxing does the guy have to get to get his name out of people's mouth. The ball is in floyds court, it always has been thanks to the power people give the guy....if he wants to fight fine. If not who cares. The result of that fight wouldn't change anything, if floyd won it'd be this and that and he wouldn't get credit of any of it. If he lost so what....goin by what everyone says about the guy he isn't that great anyway.

In my opinion, Pacquiao's time in the ring is aging him more than floyd's time out of the ring at this moment. Floyd has said as far back as the Hatton fight, that your body deteriorates a little more every time you're in the ring. So if in a time span, Floyd has fought twice, and Pacquiao has fought 4 times and taken more punishment then Floyd has in his 2 the advantage is going to be Floyd's. This is why I think Arum is stupid going on this filler fight in house crusade to showcase Pac as the guy Floyd won't fight. Because the fight is going to be signed and when it does Pac is going to have wished he didn't have those filler fights in between, because regardless of how he looked. As time goes on, he focuses less on boxing, and takes a little more punishment when he does it. Not good imo.
Are you trying to tell us that Mayweather is trying to get an advantage in that he may probably agree to the fight when Pacquiao is already pass his prime (as a result of years of continuous beatings)?
Re: The ball is FIRMLY in Mayweather's court
I already know Floyd is stalling sh't.
He wants to back out while he's ontop,
rather than continue to dominate & make $$ & pay off the IRS for all them carsss ;)
He stalled it with the drug-test shabang with Pac...
He washed his hands of it.
He's sitting pretty talking smack going on photo shoots & dating shows
for has-been R&B Stars (Chili from TLC)
He wants to be all Hollywood, everyone wants to be Hollywood
all 'cept for Pac; that's how he beat Cotto
I was saying to myself: Cotto's taking vacations, eating pinchos,
going swimming with his obese BFF...
Pac is keeping focused, always.
Yes, the ball is in Floyd's court, but it's not bouncing or rolling.
He's fine, though ;)
Re: The ball is FIRMLY in Mayweather's court
Mayweather stalled a fight with pacquiao by potentially going in jail.....
I have honestly heard it all now.
Re: The ball is FIRMLY in Mayweather's court
Floyd is one lucky SOB. He has these blind legions of groupies that are loyal to the end. He doesn't even have to fight. All he has to do is talk shetloads of crap, play mind games, CLAIM to be the best p4p, act like a complete fool out of the ring... and his groupies remain loyal PBF fans and Pac haters. What a life. Meanwhile, all Pacquiao does is defy all odds by beating bigger and bigger men, be his humble self, gather more fans by the minute... the exact opposite of Floyd. And yet the Floyd fans remain loyal to their man, excusing his every antic, insulting anyone who dares to insinuate that Pac may be better than Floyd.
Are you guys getting PAID for this?

I'm a Floyd fan (not his attitude) when it comes to boxing. He is great and has proven himself throughout the years. The man has great skills inside that ring. I also like Pac too and can't deny his greatness.
Now if you want to talk about blind groupies, see the ones that follows Haye. Now Haye hasn't done shit at HW but con people and talks shit.
