There is no question. Pac is p4p king and will go into the history book as an ATG listed way above Floyd.

Floyd is a moron. All this time going by is just aging him and allowing pac to get comfortable at 147. Where pac will put on a legal aggrevated assualt on the primitive Mayweathers.

That's one way to look at it, or..

That, or Mayweather is taking a year off letting his body get fresh while Pac is going through training camp after training camp and fighting more and taking more punishment than he should, so makes himself a little more worn. So that by the time they fight Floy's body would have had a year of rest and would be fresh, while Pacquiao is a little more battle worn and Floyd boxing wise is about as smart as Hopkins.

In my opinion, Pacquiao's time in the ring is aging him more than floyd's time out of the ring at this moment. Floyd has said as far back as the Hatton fight, that your body deteriorates a little more every time you're in the ring. So if in a time span, Floyd has fought twice, and Pacquiao has fought 4 times and taken more punishment then Floyd has in his 2 the advantage is going to be Floyd's. This is why I think Arum is stupid going on this filler fight in house crusade to showcase Pac as the guy Floyd won't fight. Because the fight is going to be signed and when it does Pac is going to have wished he didn't have those filler fights in between, because regardless of how he looked. As time goes on, he focuses less on boxing, and takes a little more punishment when he does it. Not good imo.

Actually floyd would never compare to pac when it comes to battle worn. Floyd can take all the vacation he wants. It will not help him against pac. If anything pac is staying in shape and floyd is getting rusty.

Either way. With every astounding victory, Pac gets new fans, and loads of new respect. Whereas Floyd... he continues to spout off as to why he's the world's p4p... but less and less people are listening.

Actually Majesty has a very valid point. The annoying Kellerman in his post fight commentary was talking about how Ray Leonard caught a battle worn Hagler (his chief rival at the time) near the age of 33 with lots of wear and tear on his body, especially after brutal wars with Hearns and Mugabi. He was saying how Manny didn't look like the Manny in '08. And he was right, Pac in my eyes in the Margarito fight was slowing down and getting hit more, of course Margarito's big ass size advantage also has to factor into it as Steward and Lampley also chimed in. But Kellerman did make a good observation. Whether truthful or not on Floyd's part, who knows.

"astounding" victory?!!!! some of you are such sheep. Any person with half a brain could have predicted the result last night. 90% of tis board thought Pac was going to KNOCK HIM OUT quickly. What is astounding is how easily such a one dimensional and slow as molasses cheater like Margo was able to hit Pac. Just make sure you don't jump off the bandwagon when Mayweather puts on a master class against Pac.

We all knew what the result would be, but it's the manner of the victory. Floyd wouldn't even step in the ring with the likes of Cotto or Margarito. Pac fucks them up. You can keep on harping about Floyds superior skills, but he won't fight anyone under 35.

"astounding" victory?!!!! some of you are such sheep. Any person with half a brain could have predicted the result last night. Oh but of course. Now EVERYBODY could've predicted the result last night. 90% of tis board thought Pac was going to KNOCK HIM OUT quickly. What is astounding is how easily such a one dimensional and slow as molasses cheater like Margo was able to hit Pac. Maybe because Manny was more than willing to exchange punches? Just a thought. Also, it IS a 12-round fight. Some punches are bound to find their mark. Just make sure you don't jump off the bandwagon when Mayweather puts on a master class against Pac.
Sorry dude, but to me... that a blown-up lightweight can put such a horrible beating on a huge welterweight is amazing to me. Ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a!! And yeah... you and the rest of the Floyd groupies will continue with the "what-ifs" and the "just-wait-untils". Meanwhile, the rest of us are yawning and laughing at you.

    Well said TitoFan,

I am a believer. I had my doubts and tried to resist as a Hatton and Barrera fan, but Pac keeps on destroying bigger men and doing it in a devastating and brutal manner. He is a wrecking ball. It doesn't matter who you are because he is stronger than you, can take anything you have and will throw 10 for every 3 that you throw.

Mayweather likes to throw 40 punches a round max and that's against small guys like Marquez who he knows can't reach him nor put a dent. What's he going to throw against Manny? Probably less because he will know what's going to be coming right back and if he does open up then we are going to see Floyd getting bust up in a way never quite seen before.

Mayweather is inactive and reluctant to fight. Pacquiao right now is all wrong for him and I want to see it. He has his devoted followers, but they are living in yesterday. Mayweather hasn't been spectacular in years and his time has passed. Bring on Mayweather v Pacquiao! Huzzah!

Completely agree with your post. In that post fight interview last night Pac looked really really tired, he looked actually like he was out of it. Thats not a good thing in terms of a future fight against Floyd.

You know what? In all honesty... Pac doesn't NEED Floyd. He can retire right now, and his legacy is secure as one of the best fighters ever. And in all likelihood he'll rate above Floyd. Boy, won't THAT be a thorn on Floyd's side. But the best part is.... Manny doesn't even CARE. Floyd cares about all this shet a hell of a lot more than Pacquaio does.

Manny can right now ride off into the sunset, and leave the babbling Floyd talking to himself and his dwindling "legion" of fans about how he could've taken Manny. And the boxing public in general will be laughing at Floyd and his antics.

actually if you watch the espn interview after the fight....He look a lot better. He was just tired, it is always hard to be interviewed after a fight.

Pac has two fights left at the max. This is the only real fight where he has eaten shots in multiple digits in multiple rounds. I think this is because Margarito is better than people give him credit for. He will eat the punches to get his own in and won't get on his bike like Cotto, cover up all night like Clottey nor go to sleep like Hatton. I bet this Margarito would have given Mosley fits too and would have taken rounds against Mayweather on sheer activity.

Otherwise Pac hasn't been taking all that much wear and tear in the higher weights. Cotto for a few rounds, a couple of Clottey uppercuts and a now a Margarito who just wouldn't quit. For me it shows Pac can take it and there are only a couple of dozen rounds to go tops. He can handle it.
