That's one way to look at it, or..

That, or Mayweather is taking a year off letting his body get fresh while Pac is going through training camp after training camp and fighting more and taking more punishment than he should, so makes himself a little more worn. So that by the time they fight Floy's body would have had a year of rest and would be fresh, while Pacquiao is a little more battle worn and Floyd boxing wise is about as smart as Hopkins.

In my opinion, Pacquiao's time in the ring is aging him more than floyd's time out of the ring at this moment.

Either way. With every astounding victory, Pac gets new fans, and loads of new respect. Whereas Floyd... he continues to spout off as to why he's the world's p4p... but less and less people are listening.
"astounding" victory?!!!! some of you are such sheep. Any person with half a brain could have predicted the result last night. Oh but of course. Now EVERYBODY could've predicted the result last night. 90% of tis board thought Pac was going to KNOCK HIM OUT quickly. What is astounding is how easily such a one dimensional and slow as molasses cheater like Margo was able to hit Pac. Maybe because Manny was more than willing to exchange punches? Just a thought. Also, it IS a 12-round fight. Some punches are bound to find their mark. Just make sure you don't jump off the bandwagon when Mayweather puts on a master class against Pac.
Sorry dude, but to me... that a blown-up lightweight can put such a horrible beating on a huge welterweight is amazing to me. Ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a!! And yeah... you and the rest of the Floyd groupies will continue with the "what-ifs" and the "just-wait-untils". Meanwhile, the rest of us are yawning and laughing at you.
