Lyle is very bias on this and his hatred towards Haye kind of leads him to say things harsher than they actually need to be. He called the Wlad-Haye fight perfectly for years though so I have alot of respect for that. Either way you look at it Haye turned up for the payday rather than the glory. It pissed alot of us Brits off though because it is very clear that Haye's skillset is capable of much more than this once a year "talk a fight" parade we are given. My belief is still that Haye could clean out the division, but I don't believe he really wants to do it.
No he didn't (;D) - Wlad was going to take the fight to Haye, punish him and look spectacular with a KO victory.
It became a contest of who could sink the lowest from pre-fight expectations.
It was close... but Haye won. ;)

Well it wasn't really close. Haye won by a mile. He fooled even hardcore fans into believing they were about to see the second coming. Wlad was just his usual self (dull).
Re: When David met Wlad..
Did you mean David Hype? Some of you Brits must really love this clown, because never has a "big name" fighter gotten so much attention, while accomplishing so little.
It's sad to see some of you still hanging on haye's nuts and/or still buying the hype.
Re: When David met Wlad..
Haye put in a dismall performance against Wlad. Haye tried landing the big punch but Wlad is a lot better than that now. Wlad owned Haye in the pre-fight hype and Haye made a complete prat of himself with his toe injury.
Haye wants to beat Vitali who is slow and aged a lot recently and then make amends and put a better effort against Wlad if he beat his brother Vitali.

Haye wouldn't beat Vitali if he was 60, and if he fought Wlad again, he gets crushed.
The only reason Haye will ever get a fight with either Klitschko Bro is money, because he damn sure hasn't earned it in the ring. The same suckers who paid to see Haye lose to Wlad the 1st time will be throwing their money away again. Fools never learn.

Yea it's amazing. Haye has beaten no one as a heavyweight yet many people rank him 3rd. Would he honestly beat a top 10 heavyweight? And if so why hasn't he yet? I think he woul beat Povetkin, Wilder, Adamek but why is he not pursuing these fights?
Because he does not trust his chin.

Because he's loaded and doesn't have to risk his chin.

Eh, why work for a title shot with a Klitschko like everyone else has to, when you know because of the money it would generate, you'll eventually get one anyway.

He must be a bit short in the bank account at the moment then?

Thompson has been booked by Price, Haye should fight Fury that would be a belter.
