Sometimes I think the huge profile ko vs Ruiz was a jinx on Tua. He just never really developed past loading up for the one big shot. Ustinov is a behemoth and I'm not sure it's a smart move for a 40 yr old Tua who's chin is showing cracks to try to retrieve his glory by standing in there.

Haye will fight Tyson Fury then he'll do what he always does run his stupid fucking mouth, both of them will.
As for Tua of course older heavies will try to come back to get one more title shot, it always happens, I don't know why people are so surprised. I wouldn't be shocked if Sam Peter at some point comes back or Valuev or Ruiz....it's just boxing. If Tua wins and wins a fight vs a top contender he'll more than likely get a title shot, but that's a lot of IF's for a guy that old and with that style.

Briggs is almost the same height and he can bang, and he was active, not against the highest quality but he had 5 fight in 10 months, including Vitali.
He knocked out the other 4 in the first round.
And just generally he has always been dangerous +a former world champion.

Sanders was coming off absolutely obliterating Wlad and was suddenly the most dangerous fighter in the world. Vitali was his very next fight!
Peter had only been beaten by Wlad but dropped him a couple of times and then went on to win the WBC belt.
Arreolas shape is his own fault but he was looking exciting knocking people out when not many other heavies were and he was undefeated.
Solis had an excellent amateur background, beating Haye along the way. He was skill full and could still go places, again, his training habits aren't Vitalis fault!

No Briggs was no waste of time. He talked the vilest shit about the brothers for YEARS on boxing forums and in interviews and got what he had coming to him: a broken face, two weeks in the hospital, and the end of his career.
