Since the Lewis fight (hugely declined Lewis) he's fought only Shannon Briggs that I'd say had a chance and he destroyed him.

Fact is, he's never fought anyone as quick as Haye is, and his lack of fights against talented fighters like Haye leads me to believe that Haye probably stops the 41 year old.

Sanders, Peter, Solis, Arreola all had a good chance to upset Vitali. They were the most dangerous guys in the division at the time he fought them. Briggs was a complete waste of time.

Doesnt change the fact they were the best available at the time though does it. He hasnt avoided anyone other than his brother. Those names were either belt holders or undefeated. They were the most dangerous available opponents.

there are a few fighters around now who are a threat and a much better challenge than he has had before, yet he has chosen to name tua as a posible opponent?

good luck to him if all he wants is one more easy fight, lets hope he hangs up his gloves after that tho so we see some of the ambitious boxers fight it out

Sometimes I think the huge profile ko vs Ruiz was a jinx on Tua. He just never really developed past loading up for the one big shot. Ustinov is a behemoth and I'm not sure it's a smart move for a 40 yr old Tua who's chin is showing cracks to try to retrieve his glory by standing in there.
