I had removed Cotto from my list originally. But since it's become pretty obvious he was beaten by a fighter taking illegal substances I decided to bring him back.
With all the 'roids talk, you avoided being attacked for having Floyd number 1 in the first place...
Now that PACQUAIO has AGREED TO ALL KINDS OF TESTS, what will Gayweather do now?
So, VD being a big pacfan that you are, are you doing another evaluation on Pac. LOL;D
Mayweather is afraid of the PAC. FACT.

I've watched it from a Philippine TV. Manny is saying that he will undergo any test.

So he says he will undergo the Olympic style drug testing? Is that correct?

Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
Any source bruce?
With the legal action now taking place and the fight seemingly off, it is a rather innapropriate time to suddenly be announcing that he is willing to undergo any form of testing.
-
Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
Bruce just dreamed that, it's a normal occurrence. It never actually happened in reality.
-
Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
He says he'll undergo scheduled tests, he isn't going to do random testing though. He'll basically agree to any amount of tests apart from ones that actually might catch him cheating.

He agreed to a random drug testings ( not olympic style) as long as it's not too close on fight night (e.g. 2 days before).
Isn't it good enough? Pac would have no chance of using PEDs with that kind of testing. I just hope that Miles is really knowledgeable about PEDS detection and that he's not getting this crazy ideas from the Internet and then claim knowledge on it as what haters are doing now.
It seems that almost everybody here are now an authority on PEDS just to back their claim that Pac is juicing. Whew.

Where does it say he's agreed to random testing?
-
Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
I have written about PED's and how hard it is to detect them in previous threads. The drugs are ahead of the testing...the only way you can prove 100% an athlete is clean is through muscle biopsy...which i don't see any athlete or sports body agreeing to. Also, people know how to "cycle" off and on drugs. To truly show an athlete is clean, would require regular and much more thorough testing. It wouldn't shock me if Manny and many other "superstar" athletes are on something (including Floyd). But until the testing becomes much more stringent and up to date, we will never know. That being said, Pac's attitude towards blood testing makes him look particularly suspicious. Bottom line, PED's are a reality in sports...to think otherwise is just sticking your head in the sand.

The Re-Re-Evaluation of Pacquiao is a disappointing one The man ruined one of the most anticipated fights ever in Boxing with his refusal to test.

Yes it is. To think this highly anticipated fight ain't happening cuz of missed drug tests is a black eye for boxing.

Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
I see your point completly. In regards to being a massive fan. That is to say of his boxing talent in the ring , as a boxing fan, I am too; but I am no fan of his hand picked approach to securing wins by other means.
Theres also no excuse available to take boxing down a notch and rip off all fans of the greatest sport what they as the financial supporters deserve.

This is ridiculous. You make it sound like you saw him stick a needle labled steroids in his arm. You dont live with Pacquiao, train with him, eat with him ect... Your painting a label over him as fact and you know nothing more than anyone else about his personal life. The fact that Manny doesnt want to take random blood testing prooves nothing. Who likes getting a big gauge needle stuck in their arm when they dont have to anyways? Before you paint Manny Pacquiao as a PED using cheater you need to get some proof because your instincts are useless as wet toilet paper.

Keyword there is second. There would never of been a second anything if Pac would of took the offer when it was originally proposed. But he didn't. He decided to hold out for.........nothing. The fucking idiot excepted the same original offer. So really what was the point of those 8 months in between? It wasn't for more money. Or some other perk. It was for one reason. And one reason only. To clean the illegal, cheating drugs out of his system.

That's cuz it is a fact. It's simple common sense. What do you guys have against thinking? I don't doubt you ain't the brightest around. But you can't be this stupid. Think. That's all I ask of you. Just think. The man doesn't take the fight cuz he dislikes big gauge needles in his arm (so he says). Dislike is so much he leaves 40 million on the table. But 8 months later all of a sudden he's ok with it. No problem at all.

Then, I don't see any reason for Mayweather to go on vacation because this will be easy money. Right? Not unless Floyd thinks Manny is still as good 'without the roids'.

Never once claimed Mayweather was blameless in this fight not happening. He deserves 20% of the blame for this fiasco. Even though I have my doubts Pacquiao actually agreed to the testing the second time around, Mayweather should of publicly called his bluff and took the fight. I understand Mayweather maybe not wanting to agree at that particular moment due to his uncle/trainer legal troubles. And his uncertainty and potential absence. But Mayweather speaks to much nonsense for him to be able to get a full pass. So 20% of the blame is his. The other 80% is all Pacdruggie

Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
1998
19 Yr old Pacquiao viciously kayoed lineal champion Chatchai Sasakul.
* Massive accomplishment specially with just the left hand. NO suspicion of PEDS
2001
Totally destroyed Ledwabba on a one sided beating
*Another Great accomplishment with just 2 weeks notice and Ledwabba regarded as the best of the division. NO suspicion of PEDS
2003
Pac annihilated Former champion Jorge Julio in 2 rounds and undefeated Lucero in 3. Barrera didnt mind this en route to absorbing a beating. Superb feat. NO suspicion of PEDS
2006
TKO'd Erik Morales twice. Morales
Good accomplishment as of now. but it was HUGE during that time. NO suspicion of PEDS
2008
SD'd Marquez and shut down Diaz. Very good accomplishment considering jmm is a nightmare stylistically plus DLH should have killed Pacquiao in a Circus. Good accomplisment now BUT he should have not came out alive againts DLH. NO suspicion of PEDS
* Some hints from Sr. though but not directly
2009
Brutally kayoed Hatton in 2. Great accomplishment since Hatton had 0 loss at 140. Hatton's Trainer Floyd Sr. would start the allegation after this
TKO'd Miguel Cotto in 11. Big accomplishment.
Paulie Malinaggi who was TKO's by Hatton and Cotto. supported Floyd Sr's claim that Pac's feat is impossible without cheating.
*His prediction was Cotto before the fight and Pacquiao should be the greatest fighter of all time if he beats Cotto.
-- Pacquiao has 2 KO losses and UD loss to Morales to sum his careera at this point.
********
Sorry if these bored you but. Pac didnt have problems securing a fight before Floyd.
PED's use came out nowhere or i mean Sr and Paulie's mouth, Both have conflicting interest.

Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
Geez, this issue's still not yet resolved. It's been couple years already, right. I come here once in a long while and everytime I do, the issues still been argued, it must be some sort of a record. The issue is so easy to resolve. Packy ducked drugged test, and Little Floyd ducked Pac, simple as that...
Just passing by, babes...;)

I think you are right.
Second place just doesnt cut it in boxing and thats what the outcome for one of them will be at the end of the day. At the moment its still 50/50 in many fans minds even with Pacs losses. Floyd has more to loose in that respect. If either wanted the fight, wanted to prove themselves wholeheartedly it would be made somehow.
If often thought even when two fighters are arguing over a purse why doesnt one say publicly "Ok I agree to the 60/40 but we make it 60 /40 purse to the winner! Thats saying in real terms, Ok Champ :) I agree, but put your corners money where your mouth is, you say you are better now you have the chance to prove it and back it up.
