They are not synonymous terms at all, but people who believe in religions typically believe in a father figure type of god. If you don't believe in that then you generally push towards a more reasoned means of trying to understand the universe. In which case you are moving more beyond god and an acceptance that god has next to nothing to do with humanity nor our futile little quest on an insignificant little planet. That is where science and a more reasoned approach to understanding comes into play and the way science is heading it is pretty much leaning towards a greater understanding of everything. We can cure cancers, analyse black holes and create sheep in a lab. Science is making all the moves and ultimately our understanding will come from scientific research. I sure dont believe its a separate being and a Male only entity that looks like an old man in white robes.
(Of course that is part of the whole though and different parts deal with different matters).
More into God is everything: Male and female energys every Star every Planet very Sun and all the space between all the way down through the dimensional fields from Divine Unconditional Love all the way down into the 3rd dimensional material only field, allowing and also including Miles's disbelief in itself, which can only exist up to this level.
I Know there is only One consciousness that allows separation from itself and others from others in only a couple of its dimensions.
Oh and on the scale of matter and anti matter which is All of what is: If you say you only believe in what you see and can touch materially then your own scope is only choosing to acknowledge less that 3% of the whole.

No, it's the Biblical concept that I mainly take issue with. Such a lot of garbled nonsense. I believe science will ultimately explain everything that we need to know. It's all about energy and if we were to say that god was energy then I would have to concede that energy clearly exists. It can be contained, measured, transferred, released. It exists. But I don't believe in anything divine nor mystical. I believe only in what we are able to quantify through technology and reason. We can't for instance just say that ghosts exist and for me to never see a ghost. I am just not having it. You should at least provide me with the evidence. Right now I am trying to see atoms, but my eyesight is just not good enough. However, there is a substantial body of research that proves to me that they exist. Yes they are and I take them quite seriously. The first 2 have nothing to back them up, so you might as well focus on being a good person without wasting time being semi forced into it because hellfire might be awaiting. It's better to be a good person just because you want to be.

I mean its pretty impressive, back from dead, eventually sight back into a clinical dead eye etc after medicine and science says he is without any hope.
I think its fascinating because it doesnt happen to everyone in that situation it is rare but he isnt alone.
Life force healing energy is not visible, but it is here without any doubt and I recon this bloke got it dealt up in hearts.
Could he generate it alone? is a big question.

So, why would most not recover? Clearly he is a special case and in some way physically all was not completely lost. There was a faint path back and it was fortunate enough to happen to him. But in 99.9% of cases of going blind, I would imagine that eyesight does not return. Why do some people die from cancer and others manage to get better, part of that is chance and a lot of it is down to greatly improving science.Quote:

Yeah of course there are time and constraint limits at this compressed level of being. All the things you mentioned there that the mind cant achieve instantly cant get done in time even by arrangement of machines, by others or by your own hand until it has passed through the mind and that doesnt just occur by chance either you get desire prior to the thought,they are all very real untouchable unseen forces that are a driving part of the whole.
Sorry I skipped the question, persoanlly I think most haven't a hope because they fall into victim mode where as others have a feeling of life force and power within and they lift their spirit out of the hole into survival mode into thoughts then the physical obeys the thought same as any action.
